Geraldine G. Dominguez, 55, a resident of Española, passed away peacefully at her home with her loving family by her side on Friday, January 23, 2015. She was preceded in death by her parents, Emmanuel and Bonnie Apodaca; uncles, Alfonso Ortega and Daniel Ortiz, aunt, Antonia Ortiz; brothers-in-law, Juan and Jose Marcelo Dominguez; and her comadre, Edna Serna. Geraldine is survived by her husband of 35 years, Victor Dominguez; daughter, Crystal Dominguez, sons, Emmanuel Dominguez and wife Yazmin, Santiago Dominguez and wife Ernestine, and Francisco Dominguez and wife Sandra; grandchildren, Laura, Teresa, Santana, Faith, Veronica, Maria, Isabel, Estrella, and Emmanuel Jr.; brother, Morris Apodaca and family, sister, Bonnie Apodaca and family; In-laws, Santiago Dominguez and family, Felipe Dominguez and family, Elena Espiricueta and family, Maricela Vasquez and family, Rosa Dominguez and family, and Mercy Dominguez and family; mother-in-law, Gregoria Dominguez; comadre, Yolanda and family, and her compadres, Miguel and Shiela Romero, and many other loving relatives and friends. Public visitation will begin on Thursday, January 29, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory, with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 30, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the San Jose Catholic Church in Hernandez, with burial to follow at the San Jose Cemetery.
