Geraldine Trujillo

Geraldine P. Trujillo (Geri), 85, resident of Rio Chiquito, NM passed from this life into the waiting arms of the Lord on Sunday, November 27, 2022.  She was born in Tererro, NM, the oldest of three siblings.  Geri was preceded in death by her daughter, Andrea Trujillo, parents, Prescilla Lopez and Pacifico Trujillo, brother Ralph Trujillo and nephew, Daniel Baldonado.

Geri is survived by the love of her life and beloved husband of 70 years, Joe N. Trujillo, sisters, Cecilia Medina and Patricia Baldonado (Norbert), Nephews, Alan Trujillo and Ray Baldonado, Nieces, Sue Beck (Bill), Anne Trujillo-Kalush (Michael), Beverly Martinez (Marvin), Rachel Manzanares (Leonard), children of sisters-in-law, Leonardita Roybal, Celina Dominguez, Margaret Archuleta, many other nieces and nephews and great-nieces, great-nephews and godchildren.

Geri was well known and loved in her community.  She spent over 30 years as a Hairdresser and loved bowling and playing the slots.  Geri was very dedicated to the Holy Family Parish and in years past was a member of the Guadalupana Society, Sagrada Corazon and the choir.  Joe and Geri spent many years camping and enjoying the outdoors pinon picking, picnics, gardening, spending countless hours on their porch swing and activities with their family.

Rosary will take place on Monday, December 5, 2022, at 9:00 am at Holy Family Church in Chimayo, NM with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:00 am. Burial to follow at Rio Chiquito Cemetery. 

The family requests that mask be worn for services.
