George Edgar Martinelli, 77, a resident of Española passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, August 9, 2012. George was known by his co-workers as Mr. Ed. George was born on May 15, 1935 in Modesto, California to George and Eleanor Martinelli. He is survived by his loving wife, Gertrude (Trudie), his brothers: Lawrence, Wallace, and James, his 3 children: Kathryn Murray-Tran, James DeBorde, and Katherine Bryant, his 8 grandchildren: Sara Murray, April Murray, Alex Tran, Nicole Tran, Braylin Bryant, Trevan DeBorde, Saybrie DeBorde, and Jaida DeBorde, and 2 great-grandchildren: Jacob and Kahlan Loving.\r\n Public Visitation for “Mr. Ed” will begin at 11:00a.m. Tuesday, August 14, 2012 in the Chapel of Peace of DeVargas Funeral Home and will continue until 8:00p.m. Interment is scheduled for Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at 11:15 a.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery with full military honors.
