GEORGE AMADOR LOPEZ, 71, born on September 12, 1942 a resident of Canjilon, passed away on Tuesday July 22, 2014 following short illness. He was preceded in death by his father, Amador Lopez; mother, Ercilia Mollohan; son, George Lopez, Jr.; Jose P. Montaño, Sr. and Brian Montano, Sr. George was a loving, caring, happy and active man. May he rest in peace. Mr. Lopez is survived by his loving companion, Veronica Lopez of Canjilon; children, Deborah Archuleta and Ben Lopez (LeeAnn) all of Espanola, Velvet Money of Rio Rancho and Clarissa Montano and Georgia Montano both of Las Vegas NV; brothers and sisters, Gene Lopez (Rosina) of Lyden, Leroy Lopez (Celina) of La Puebla, Charlotte Sanchez of Las Cruces, Chuck Mollohan of Santa Fe, Christina Melendez of Pittsburg, CA, Andy Lopez (Kathy) of Antioch, CA and Lisa Lopez-Boone of Sacramento, CA; grandchildren, Tony Valdez, Ricky Chavez, Anne Martinez, Ruby Lopez, Jenna, Renee and Michael Money, Jaydon and Jordon Esquerra; 10 great-grandchildren; Sally Montano, Estevan Maestas and numerous other relatives and friends. A rosary will be recited on Sunday, July 27, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory. Memorial mass will be celebrated on Monday, July 28, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at San Juan de Nepomuceno Catholic Church in Canjilon. The family of George Amador Lopez has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
