Frank J. Dallas 74, a resident of Espanola, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family after a lengthy illness on Thursday, January 20, 2022.
He was preceded in death by his parents Henry Sr. and Emma Dallas, infant son who passed at birth, brother, Wayne Dallas, and sister, Lucy Dallas, nephews
Anthony Dallas, Marcus Dallas and other loved ones throughout the years.
He is survived by his loving Partner of 25 years, Deborah Suina. His beloved daughters Monica “Victoria” Dallas-Romero (Raymond), Tessa Dallas, and Andrea Salas (Andrew); brother, Henry Jr. “Hank” Dallas; sister, Linda Dallas; grandsons, Darren Sanchez, Jerome Trujillo (Julianna), and Matthew Trujillo and his only granddaughter Haylie Sanchez; and the mother of his children, Tillie Martinez.
Frank and Deborah spent their time doing things they loved, whether it was raising dogs, traveling, or teaching her how to drive a tractor. They were rarely seen apart.
Frank was a very supportive and involved father and grandfather. He was spoiled by three loving daughters who adored him. Each one of them knew that they could count on him for anything and he would be there for them not matter the case. His four grandchildren were the light of his life; he loved every minute that he got to spend with them. He was always present at every event or occasion, beaming with pride.
Over his lifetime he worked for the State of New Mexico (retired) and worked at the Camel Rock (retired) and Buffalo Thunder casinos.
In his younger years he was an avid bowler and a member of a league, as well a great fisherman. He also enjoyed farming. He was rarely spotted without one of his many baseball caps and he enjoyed listening to good old country music. He could also be found enjoying his time spent outdoors on his tractors, gardening, woodworking, or watching and cheering on his favorite football team, the Dallas Cowboys. Most of all he loved enjoying time with his beloved family and friends.
He is greatly loved, will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts.
Serving as pallbearers are: Hank Dallas, Darren Sanchez, Jerome Trujillo, Haylie Sanchez, Matthew Trujillo, Raymond Romero, Andrew Salas, Rick Salazar, and Isaac Garcia.
