Francisco (Pancho) (Kiko) Quintero

Francisco (Pancho) (Kiko) Quintero unexpectedly passed away on August 15, 2024, at the age of 56 years old with his family by his side.

He was preceded in death by his father Pedro Quintero, his mother Maria De La Luz Valdez and his son Francisco Javier Quintero his brother-in-law Fernando Estrada. And JD Mascarenas

He is survived by his lifelong companion (wife) Barbara Vigil; daughter Laura Marquez; son Alberto (Beto) Quintero; stepdaughter Crystal Vigil; stepdad Juan Bonilla and siblings Eva Estrada, Lupita Quintero, Pedro Quintero (Adela), Rogelio Quintero (Mayela), Alfredo Quintero (Karla), Luz Elena Bonilla (Alejandro), Claudia Bonilla (Ruben) and Iris Bonilla and ex brother-in-law David Hernandez; brothers in law, Harold Mascarenas (Maria), Peter Mascarenas (Frances), Mark Mascarenas (Esther); sisters in law Lorraine Sisneros, Carmella Martinez (Gilbert) and Diana Martinez. Pancho leaves behind 9 grandchildren Christian, Lalo, Keili, Yaneli, Damian, Amber, Cruzita and Emerald and Jade, who were raised by him. 3 great-grandchildren Erika his little Weda Chula, Adeline, and Noah. As well as many nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends and a very special nephew Davisito Hernandez who he loved very much.

Pancho was a hardworking man who loved his family. He helped a lot of people when he could. He took pride in making his home with his wife comfortable and enjoyed the beautiful landscaping he put together, so their yard was always beautiful. He was always joking with everyone and made friends quickly. Pancho was always telling his wife, “Make me something to eat” because he loved to eat, he always was hungry. He loved going down to El Paso to be with his brothers and sisters. He loved playing loteria and concan but he always cheated, he would get mad if he didn’t win. He will be dearly missed by all who loved him.

A Rosary will take place on Monday, August 26, 2024, at 10:00 am and Mass will follow at 11:00 AM at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Santa Cruz, burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. 

Pallbearers are Christian, Lalo, Julian, Mario, Eddie (Flaco), and Jose.  Honorary Pallbearers are Ericka, Adeline, Noah, Yaneli, Keali, Damain.
