Frances Y. Delgado-Pena, 56, a resident of Española passed away from a sudden illness on Tuesday, January 1, 2013. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, BreAndra Pena; husband, Julian Pena; mother, Sadie Noe; brother, Joseph Delgado; close cousin, Pat Garcia. Frances is survived by her son, Andrew Pena and companion Melissa Romero of Española; sister, Gloria Noe Delgado and husband Alan Tobey of Kingman, AZ; nieces/nephews: Angelina McKim and husband Scott of California, Anthony Delgado and wife Maree of Denver, Mario Delgado of Albuquerque; cousin/best friend, Patricia Covarrubias and husband Gabriel; cousin, Nick Garcia and wife Vicki of Rio Rancho; mother-in-law, Manuelita Pena of Servilleta; close friend, Mike Pena of Servilleta; numerous other loving relatives & friends. Public visitation will be held on Friday, January 4, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory with a rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 5, 2012 at 1:30 p.m. at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Española with burial to follow at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers: Mario Delgado, Nick Garcia, Angelina McKim, Dennis Perez, Denise Pena and Joseph Serrano.
