Frances Vigil

Frances Y. Vigil, a resident of Chimayo, passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2018 following a lengthy illness. She was preceded in death by her parents, Estanislado (Tiny) and Soraida Vigil; maternal grandparents, Ramon and Pablita Jaramillo; paternal grandparents, Fabian and Sabina Vigil; brother, Cecilio Vigil; nephews, Chris Vigil and Nino Martinez. Frances is survived by her daughter, Christina “Tina” Martinez (Manuel); grandchildren, Christiana and Manuel Martinez; companion, Ray Romero; siblings, Michael Vigil (Hilda), Elvira Rios, Sandra and Darlene Vigil. A rosary will be recited on Monday, January 29, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. at the Holy Family Catholic Church in Chimayo with a memorial mass to be celebrated at 12:30 p.m. Burial will follow at the Nuestra Señora de Dolores Cemetery also in Chimayo. The family of Frances Y. Vigil has entrusted the care of their loved one to the DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
