Florian Montoya

Florian Montoya, age 67, passed away peacefully on February 12, 2025, surrounded by his family. He was a proud resident of Chimayo, NM. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, 3 daughters, and 6 grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held at DeVargas Funeral Home on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at 10:00 am, with burial to follow at Nuestra Senora Carmel Cemetery in Chimayo, NM.

The family wishes to send a special ‘thank you’ to the nurses and staff from Givings Hospice and Ambercare for their care and compassion. 

A special thanks to his brother Nelson, who never missed a day with him. 

Mom, thank you so much for everything you did for taking care of dad. Your dedication and love are truly inspiring and I don’t know what we would do without you.
