Florencio Antonio Romero, 78, of Nambe, NM, passed from this life to be with our Lord on September 22, 2024. Florencio was born in Nambe, NM, on June 3, 1946. 

He graduated from Pojoaque High School in 1964, and married Grace Valdez on July 15, 1968. Florencio worked as an electrician and owned Romero's Water Well Service for several years, where he served many customers and developed many friendships throughout the duration of his career. He loved to sing, play his guitar and piano, and enjoyed sharing his music and talents with others. He was involved in many ministries and always found ways to give back to his community.

Florencio was preceded in death by his parents Patrocino and Amada Romero. 

He is survived by his beautiful wife Grace Romero; his children Patricia Romero, Lench and wife Katherine Romero, Carmela and husband Leroy Martinez; seven grandchildren Leanne and husband Anthony Rael, Jessica and husband Marvin Romero, Leroy Jr. and wife Ana Martinez, Antonio Martinez, Gerlynn (GG), Gerrianna and Gereese Romero; eight great grandchildren Ella, Aaliyah, Daniel, Isaiah, Titus Romero, Will and Hayley Rael, and CAM Martinez. Extended family members Betrand and AnnMarie Dushime, and their children Daniella and D'Angelo. Florencio's brothers and sisters Martha Blank, Joe and wife Corine Ortiz Luggie and husband David Romero, Jerry Romero; sisters-in-law Barbara Romero, Mary Louise and Rudy Fernandez, Olivia, Jimmy and wife Dorothy Romero, and many nieces and nephews. 

A Rosary will be recited on Sunday, September 29, 2024, at Sacred Heart Church in Nambe at 6:00 p.m. A Mass will be held on Monday, September 30, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Church in Nambe. Burial will take place on October 1, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
