Florence Maestas

FLORENCE MAESTAS, 85, a lifelong resident of El Guache, born May 9, 1932 went to be with our Lord on Friday, February 23, 2018. She was preceded in death by her father, Daniel and Maria Vigil; brothers, Antonio Rueben Vigil and Jose (Jody) Vigil. Florence is survived by her husband of 67 years Richard Maestas; sisters, Viola Duhamel, Anabelle Fernandez, and Angie Bustos; children, Andy Maestas, Danny and Kim Maestas, Geri and Danny Marrujo, Mary Lou and Ernie Ortiz; grandkids, Shannon, Lynette, Stacey Galene, Travis, Alison, Brock, Nick, and Sky, great-grandkids, Christopher, Jimmy, Daniel, Jessica, Jacob, Jordan, Austin, Elaine, Brittany, Elyse, Bailey, Brock, Eva, Madison, Emma Jac, Anden, Matthew, Haley, Cohen, Mason, Paisley, Lea, and Layla. A rosary will be recited on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Ohkay Owingeh, with a Mass of Christian burial to follow at 1:00 p.m. Reception will follow the mass at the San Juan Parish Hall. Serving the family as pallbearers are Travis, Brock, Skyler, Austin, Jack and Louie.
