Flora Martinez

Flora Sandra Martinez. age 79, a resident of Medanales, NM, passed away on August 24, 2024.

Flora was preceded in death by her mother DeluVina Martinez; sister Delilah Padilla; her husband Donald D, Martinez; sons Joe “Bolo” Chacon, David “Duke” Martinez and Ronnie “Lepe” Martinez; grandsons Daniel Ray Evans and Justin Martinez.

Flora is survived by her family members: son Dennis & Annette Chacon, grandsons Gerald and Issac Chacon, grand-daughter Angel Chacon; daughter MaryToni & Tino Padilla, grand-daughter Ryan Chacon; daughter Denise Vina DeAguero and grand-daughter Jordan & Valentine Molina; daughter Jeannie Martinez, grandsons Nicolas Martinez and Sergio Avila, grand-daughters Donavine Martinez, Iesha Martinez and RayLee Martinez,grand-daughter Alyssa Martinez and grandson Jewelious Martinez; daughter Crystal & Marty Valdez, grand-daughters Latasha and Kaylee Valdez, grandsons David Martinez Jr, Shawn Martinez and Fabian Martinez and granddaughter Jo Bonnie Chacon; and many more grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Flora has been a long-time resident of Medanales, NM. She worked hard until her retirement from Los Alamos National Laboratory as a Custodial Supervisor. Family to many, FRIEND to ALL!

She enjoyed spending time with all her family, cooking, telling stories and going to casino.

Her smile, laughter and energy were contagious. She was a survivor with a heart bigger than this universe! She will be horribly missed………………

There will be a Rosary on Friday, September 6, 2024, at 5:00 pm at DeVargas Funeral Home in Espanola, NM.
