Filomena Age - 92 - Ojo Caliente Rivera

Filomena Rivera, 92, a resident of Ojo Caliente passed away on Thursday, October 11, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alberto Rivera; parents, Francisquita (Montoya) and Abel Sanchez; sons: Fidel and Reymundo Rivera; daughters-in-law: Florenia and Mela Rivera; grandchildren: Dennis, Thomas, Timmy and Jacob. Filomena is survived by her children: Gilberto Rivera, Ageda Goodnight and Macario Rivera of Ojo Caliente, Felipe Rivera (Flora) of El Guache; daughter-in-law, Lupe Rivera of La Madera; 24 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; 22 great great-grandchildren; many special nieces and nephews; brothers: Luis (Raquel), Max (Ginia) Sanchez; sister, Margaret (Luther) Quintano; care-giver of 12 years, Stella Vigil; many caring neighbors and friends; numerous other loving relatives & friends. Public visitation will be held on Monday, October 15, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory with a rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Ojo Caliente with burial to follow at Ojo Caliente Catholic Cemetery with the follow serving as pallbearers: Paul Archuleta, Ernesto Mascarenas, Gilbert Rivera Jr., Harold Goodnight, Justin Montoya and Phil Rivera Jr.; honorary pallbearers are all her grandchildren and goddaughter, Mary Garcia.
