Felix Bustos

FELIX E. BUSTOS, 79, a resident of Alcalde, passed away on Tuesday, September 13, 2016. He was born in Alcalde to Dionicio (Danny Bustos and Victoriana Pacheco on July 26, 1937. Felix served in the U.S. Army in Bremerhaven, Germany. Felix was a well-known plumber who owned New Mexico Northern Plumbing and Heating since 1970. Felix will never be forgotten for his love of life and people he loved and who loved him. Mr. Bustos is survived by his wife of 60 years, Angie Bustos; son, Eric Bustos and wife Virginia; sisters, Margaret (Ramon) of Salt Lake City, Utah, Donna Gonzales (Roger) of West Jordan, Utah, Roberta Coburn (Don) of Northport, Florida, Dean Bustos (Pam) of Colorado; grandchildren, Erica and Donald Martinez of Rio Rancho, Brandon and companion Monet of El Dorado, Jeff and companion Christina Salazar of Arroyo Seco; great-grandchildren, Gabby Martinez, Jeff Martinez, and Aiden Martinez; sisters-in-law, Viola Duhamel, Annabelle Fernandez and Florence Maestas (Dick); brothers-in-law, Ruben and Jody Vigil and many nieces, nephews he loved very much. Public visitation will begin on Sunday, September 18, 2016 at 6:30 p.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Ohkay Owingeh, with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Memorial mass will be celebrated on Monday, September 19, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. also at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, with a burial to follow at La Villita Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers, Phillip Morfin, Paul Apodaca, Cordero Bustos, Jeff Martinez, Brandon Bustos and Dean Bustos. Honorary pallbearers named are, Andy Casias, Alfred Fernandez, Jr., Thomas Sanchez, Andy Maestas and all his great-grandchildren. The family of Felix E.
