Felicia (Fish) Salazar Parker , 63, a resident of Velarde, born August 08, 1954 passed away June 25, 2018 after a brief illness. She was very outgoing, loving, kind hearted, passionate person. She had many who loved and adored her. In her younger years she enjoyed playing softball (short-stop). She retired from Rio Arriba County after 20 years. After her retirement she enjoyed riding her Harley and going on bike runs with friends. She would always return with the excitement of meeting new people and the enjoyment of the ride. She enjoyed watching Korean Dramas and especially loved Korean pop music group GOT7. She loved spending time and laughing with her grandbabies every chance she got. She loved dancing, playing games on Facebook, spending time at the casino with her daughter Rachel and granddaughter Julie (until her recent passing in October). She enjoyed artistically painting her fingernails with cool designs and colors. She loved wearing cool jewelry and coloring her hair with vibrant colors. She is survived by her daughters Rachel Quintana and Angelica(Danny) Aragon, Grandchildren Enrique, Alejandro, Lucianna, Lorenzo and Reina Aragon and Robert Beltran, Mother Maxine Salazar, Sister Lila Salazar, Brother Norman Salazar, Special Friend Antonio Garcia, Lisa Arrietta-Perez and Viola Rascon who she considered as sisters; really close friend, Helen Woods and many Relatives, Nephews, Nieces, Cousins, extended family and close friends. Preceded in Death by Granddaughter Juliana Garcia, Son Leroy Quintana Jr. Brother, Wilfred Salazar Jr. Father Wilfred (Caracana) Salazar, Maternal Grandparents Sirila & Salvatore DiLorenzo Paternal Grandparents Luis & Cleofas Salazar. Public visitation will take place on Friday, June 29, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Alcalde. Burial will take place at a later date. The family of Felicia Parker has entrusted the care of their loved one to the DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
