Fedelina Age - 95 Chimayo/Dixon Valdez

Fedelina Valdez, Age 95, a resident of Chimayo and for the past 8 years of Dixon passed away on Sunday, February 13, 2011. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bonefacio and Manuelita Martinez; husband, Joe Valdez; daughter, Lucy Trujillo; sons-in-law: Pablo Trujillo and Clarence Medina; grandsons: Walter Trujillo and Praxedes Martinez; brother, Fidel Martinez; sister-in-law, Emilia Martinez, May their souls rest in peace. Fedelina is survived by daughters: Filomena Martinez of Española and Josie Medina of Dixon whom she lived with and cared for; grandson she raised, Dennis Trujillo; 11 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and 6 great great-grandchildren. Public visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at 2:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory with a rosary to be recited at 7:45 p.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church in Chimayo. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church in Chimayo with burial to follow Nuestra Senora de Carmel with the following serving as pallbearers: Freddie Medina, Clarence Medina Jr., Frankie Medina, Nelson Trujillo, Freddie Medina Jr., Jason Medina, Dennis Trujillo; honorary pallbearers: all her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.
