Faye Clyda Rudolph

With immense sadness and heavy hearts, we announce that our mother Faye Clyda Rudolph, 75, a resident of Hernandez, perished on June 10, 2018, and is now reunited with her beloved son Michael in the heavenly Kingdom of her maker our Lord Jesus Christ. Faye was preceded in death by her husband Eugene Leo Rudolph; son, Michael Joseph Maestas; parents, Candido Maestas and Frances Sanchez; brothers, Pacomio and Frankie Sanchez, Albert and Fidencio Maestas; niece Michelle Herrera and close friends, Eileen Diaz and Amelia Martinez. Mother’s hallmark was her compassionate heart for all in need. Faye is survived by her children, Bernadette Chacon of Albuquerque and Robert L. Maestas of Hernandez; grandchildren, Brittany and Bethany Chacon; siblings, Lloyd Maestas (Susie) and family of Velarde, Leroy Maestas and family of Dixon, Joe Maestas (Virginia) and family of Denver, Eufelia Jaramillo and family of Denver, MaryAnn Maestas and family of Alcalde, Lillian Lopez (Michael) and family of La Mesilla, Emily Herrera and family of Alcalde and numerous family members and friends from Colorado and Peñasco. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Española with burial to take place at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery. Serving the family as pallbearers will be Lloyd Maestas, Michael Lopez, Lloyd Herrera, Louis Medina, Pacomio Sanchez, Jr. and Orlando Tafoya.  We thank the entire staff at Palmilla Senior Living in Albuquerque for the excellent care our mother received during her four years stay there. The family of Faye Clyda Rudolph has entrusted the care of their loved one to the DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
