Faustina Archuleta

\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n FAUSTINA ARCHULETA, 81, a resident of El Rito, passed away on Monday, March 8, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband, Florencio Archuleta; parents, Presciliano and Anna Lopez; brother, Louie Lopez; sisters, Frances Herrera and Cleo Gallegos; half-brothers, Alfredo, Pete, Fred, Filimon and Jesus Lopez; brothers-in-law: Filimon Herrera and Ben Vigil. Faustina was a Eucharistic Minister, Girl Scout Leader and was a member of the San Antonio Church, St. Jude, Altar and Rosary Society and the Choir. Mrs. Archuleta is survived by her children, Florencio Archuleta and wife Elaine of Española, Pres Archuleta and wife Dee of El Rito, Mary Ann Lopez and husband Cornelio of El Rito, Charlene Cordova and husband Alfonso of Albuquerque, Lucy Archuleta and companion Michael Nolan of Albuquerque and Nancy Vargas and husband Victor of Española; sister, Mary Vigil of Grand Junction, CO; sister-in-law, Aggie Lopez; 17 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren and numerous other nieces and nephews in the Archuleta family that are too many to mention them all and other loving relatives and friends. Public visitation will begin on Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at 6:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. A memorial mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at the San Juan Nepomuceno Catholic Church in El Rito. Burial will take place at the El Rito Catholic Cemetery. Special thanks to George Archuleta, Susan Frost, Jeannie Alvarez, Española Hospital Staff MSP day shift and night shift, Father Pat Chavez, Pastor Isaac Herrera and the Hermanos de La Morada.
