Faustin Campos

Faustin Campos, born on April 23, 1944, a resident of El Rito, NM for most of his life, passed away on September 16, 2022.

Faustin is preceded in death by his parents Veronica and Tomas Campos II, brothers Fernando (Cecelia), Leroy and Filiberto (Phil), maternal grandparents Edwarda and Porfirio Manzanares, paternal grandparents Presilliana and Tomas Campos, brothers in law Amadeo Galvez and Abedon Trujillo and Robert Valdez.

Faustin is survived by his sisters Elizaida Galvez of Ojo Caliente, Florinda Trujillo of El Rito and Roberta Campos-Valdez of Espanola, maternal aunt Ida Manzanares of Salt Lake City, Utah, sisters-in-law Cornelia Campos and Geraldine Campos, Godson Joseph Galvez of Ojo Caliente, many nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews, cousins and friends.

Faustin served in the Armed Forces from March 8, 1963 thru March 25, 1965 serving time in Germany. Faustin was a quiet and reserved man, living a simple life. He worked at Northern New Mexico Community College in El Rito campus for many years, until he retired.

A Memorial Service will take place at 10:00 am on October 4, 2022 at the Sangre de Christo Chapel in DeVargas Funeral Home in Espanola, NM. Burial will take place following at 1:00 pm at Santa Fe National Cemetery in Santa Fe, NM.
