EVELYN MARCELLA GRIEGO, 69, a resident of Dixon, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Friday, February 21, 2014. Evelyn lived for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and never went a day without seeing them. She was married to her husband, Bernabe Griego for 52 years. Evelyn is survived by her husband, Bernabe Griego; children, Cheryl Martinez and husband Michael, Darren Griego and wife Tina, Brenda Brito and husband Ernest, and Eunice Salazar and husband Gerald; grandchildren and great-grandchildren include, Vanessa Pacheco and husband Timothy and their sons Jeremiah Martinez and Domonik Pacheco, Richard Martinez, Serina Griego, Jayseph Griego, Julian Griego, Ashley Brito, Jennifer Brito, Amberly Salazar and her daughter Neveah Salazar, Morgan Salazar, and Kayla Salazar. The oldest of 14 children, Evelyn is also survived by her nine remaining brothers and sisters: Dolores Gallegos, Rudy Gallegos, Katherine Galbadon, Danny Gallegos, Marry Ann Jaramillo, Orlando Gallegos, Ramona Lopez, Patricia Ithurria, and Bernice Garcia. The compassionate care provided by Dr. James Martin will forever be appreciated by Evelyn’s family. Family and friends: your love and support keeps us going. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, February 27th, 2014 at 11:00a.m. at the Apostolic Praise Temple in Dixon.
