Evelyn - 56 - Española Jacquez

EVELYN JACQUEZ, passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 following a long and courageous battle with breast cancer. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ruben Juan and Adelina Martinez Sandoval; and brother, Gerald Sandoval. Mrs. Jacquez is survived by her husband, Gene Jacquez; adoring son, Josh Jacquez; in-laws, Bernie, and Geri Jacquez; special friends, Marlene, Cathy, Lori, Barb, Rose, Tina, Grace and Lynn; nieces and nephews, Feliz, Gabe and Damian, and Nadia and Anisa. Evelyn was a successful business woman for 17 years as franchise owner of a National Safety training agency. She was an avid fisherwoman and enjoyed traveling the world with her husband and son. At Evelyn’s request, no public services were held and she requested in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to Española Animal Humane Shelter. The family of Evelyn Jacquez has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
