EULALIA M. PACHECO “Lala”, a resident of Chimayo, passed away at home on Friday, October 30, 2015 following a lengthy illness. Eulalia was born to parents, Miguel and Berina Martinez. She was baby sister to Martin, Senon and Venancio Martinez, Devoted wife to Canuto Pacheco, daughter-in-law to Frank and Luisita Pacheco and sister-in-law to Margie Martinez, Tila Vigil and Donelia Martinez, all whom preceded her in death. Eulalia is survived by her daughter Luisita Pacheco who was her constant companion, her beloved grandson, Kenneth Pacheco who she loved more than life itself; close and loving nephews and nieces that stood by her through her most current illness, Michael, Shannon, Cruz, Louie, Patrick, Daniel and Desiree Martinez and Margie Vigil; sisters-in-law, Julia Martinez, Genoveva Vigil, Cidelia Lopez, Bernie Martinez and of course her little dog sugar plum and cat snoopy. Public visitation is tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at 6:30 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory, with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be tentatively celebrated on Thursday, November 5, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church in Chimayo, followed with a burial at Nuestra Señora de Dolores Cemetery in Chimayo. Serving as pallbearers Kenneth Pacheco, Michael Martinez, Patrick Martinez, Daniel Martinez, Louie Martinez and Tony Ruiz, honorary pallbearers Cruz and Shannon Martinez, Charlotte and Ashley Fernandez, Margie Vigil, Susie Ruiz, Desiree Martinez, Carol Ann Sandoval and Lorena Griego.
