Esther - Age 73 - El Duende Villa

ESTHER VILLA, 73, a resident of El Duende, passed away on Thursday, September 30, 2010. She was preceded in death by her parents, Tomasita and Antonio Atencio; sisters, Creselia Vigil and husband Ernesto, Luisa Padilla and husband Jose, Tomasita Ortega, Margarita Baca and husband Benancio, Rosalina Herrera and husband Jose Maria and Dela Vigil and husband Dilfido; brothers, Margarito and Abelino Atencio and Manuel Atencio and wife Nativide. Ms. Villa is survived by her children, Orlando Mondragon and wife Isela, Debbie Sandoval and husband Nick, Arnold Mondragon and wife Jessica, Steven Mondragon and wife Jennifer, Herman Mondragon and wife Georgette, Veronica Nieto and husband Julio and Orlando Mondragon Jr. and wife Cassandra; brothers, Antonio Atencio and wife Lourdes, Gilbert Atencio and wife Susie and Isidoro Atencio and wife Jenny; in-laws, Florinda Atencio, Sebedello Ortega and Ellie Atencio; 17 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. A devotional service will be held on Sunday, October 3, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory. Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Monday, October 4, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Ohkay Owingeh. The family of Esther Villa has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
