Esequiel P. Trujillo, Age 84 – A resident of Chimayo passed away on Friday, September 3, 2010. He was preceded in death by his parents Benino & Eluteria, wife Erminda Martinez Trujillo, Sister, Adonaisa, brothers Rodolfo, Florentino, Dionicio Trujillo, Grandson Joey Trujillo, and granddaughter Criss Ann Trujillo. He was a Rancher who loved taking care of his horses and all his animals. He was also a Farmer; he enjoyed irrigating, plantings, selling, and sharing his fresh products. He loved and directed the Matachines de Chimayo; he enjoyed teaching the Chimayo Elementary Students how to dance the Matachines and would dance at the Santuario church for New Years and the Holy Family Church for the fiestas. He loved going to the Senior Citizens in Espanola where he had lots of friends. Esequiel Trujillo was a much loved husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather, uncle, brother, and friend. He is survived by his sons Lorenzo, Jose and wife MaryAnne, Alonzo Trujillo and daughter, Loyola and husband Ralph Montoya, raised like a daughter, Birtha Sapcutt and husband Ron, and Dennis Sherwood also raised like a son. Grandchildren: Jacob and significant other Carlos, Jonas, JoAnne, Alonzo Jr. and fiancé Andrea, Mindy Trujillo, Emilio Montoya and wife Desiree. Great Grandchildren: ReyAnne, Alliyah, Leland, LeAnne, Isaih, Julianna, Lynette and Kaitlyn Trujillo, and Emilio Jr. and Samuel Montoya. Public visitation will be held on Sunday, September 5, 2010 at 6:30 p.m. at the Holy Family Catholic Church in Chimayo with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, September 6, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at the Nuestra Señora de Carmel Cemetery in Chimayo. Serving as Pallbearers will be Emilio Montoya, Alonzo Jr., Vicente, Diana, Peter, and Veronica Trujillo, Diego Vigil, and Benito Salazar. Honorary pallbearers will be his grandchildren and great grandchildren. The family of Esequiel P.
