Esequiel "Dan"- Age 81 - Española Pacheco

Dan Esequiel Pacheco, age 81, a resident of Espanola, passed away on Saturday, December 20, 2014 with his loving family by his side. Dan was born August 14, 1933 in Roy, New Mexico to Fredrico and Pauline Pacheco. He was preceded in death by his parents Fredrico and Pauline Pacheco; brothers, Frank, Manuel, and Freddie; sister, Delores and granddaughter, Crystalann Gonzales. Dan is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 60 years, Juanita (Tommie) Pacheco; children, Connie (Abel) Carrillo, Danny (Bernadette) Pacheco, Steve (Patty) Pacheco and daughter, Annette (Pacheco) Martinez; 10 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren as well as numerous other loving relatives and friends. Public visitation will begin on Monday, December 29, 2014 at 6:00p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home with a rosary to follow at 7:00p.m. A second rosary will be held on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at 10:00a.m. also in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home with Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 12:00p.m. at La Iglesia de Santa Cruz de la Cañada. Graveside services will follow at 2:15p.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery with full military honors.
