Ernesto Mascarenas

ERNESTO MASCARENAS, 87, a resident of Chamita passed away Thursday, May 17, 2018. Ernesto was born August 10, 1930 to Felix and Fedelina Mascarenas of Ojo Caliente. Ernest is survived by his wife Rosaura (Rose) Mascarenas of 67 years; six grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren; one brother, two sisters and many nieces and nephews. Public visitation will begin on Sunday, May 20, 2018 at 6:30 p.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Ohkay Owingeh, with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday, May 21, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. also at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. The family of Ernest Mascarenas has entrusted the care of their loved one to the DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Espanola Valley.
