Ernest Vejil, 91, a resident of Odessa, TX passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, October 25, 2012. Ernest known as Don Ernesto a long time resident of Odessa, TX, who had an Income Tax Service for over 20 years, is now together in heaven with his wife, son, granddaughter, and siblings. He was a robust person, self educated and always willing to help other people. He will be sorely missed. He was preceded in death by his wife of 71 years, Felipa Vejil; son, Rey Vejil; granddaughter, LuAna Vejil. Ernest is survived by his son, George Vejil and wife Ymelda of Santa Fe; grandchildren: Freddie J. Vejil and wife Toni of Albuquerque, JoAna Vejil of Santa Fe, DeAna M. Vejil-Sanchez and husband Ramon of Las Vegas, NV and Aaron J. Vejil of Albuquerque; great-grandchildren: Lara Lynn G. Vejil of Santa Fe, Preston J. Vejil and wife Lisa of Seattle, WA, Nikko F. Silva of Santa Fe, Marisol D. Sanchez of Las Vegas, NV, Santana L. Sanchez of Las Vegas, NV, Ivonáe S. and Karli R. Vejil of Albuquerque; great great-grandson, Jerome G. Vejil; numerous other loving family & friends. Services are pending at this time.
