Ernest J. Trujillo, 89, of Questa, passed away July 30, 2016. A beloved brother, father, grandfather, great grandfather and uncle, he was born and raised in Costilla, NM.
He was preceded in death by his wife Ayda Trujillo, parents Juan Gabriel and Gavina (Arellano) Trujillo, siblings Casilda Barela, Levi Trujillo, Lino Trujillo, Epifanio Trujillo and Fernandes Trujillo, and granddaughter Andrea Trujillo. Mr. Trujillo was a Veteran of the US Airforce and US Navy.
He is survived by his sisters Margaret Romero and Ermilinda Garcia; children Edward (Diane) Vigil, Dolores (Larry) Sims, Sharon (Felix) Ruybal, Ernie (Theresa) Trujillo, JeanAnn Jaramillo, Les (Loretta) Trujillo, Nona Trujillo, and Bobby Trujillo, Grandchildren; Andres Vigil, Carlos Vigil, Jessica Rael, Stewart Church, Joseph Ruybal, Donny Ruybal, Randy Ruybal, Maria Trujillo, Mark Jaramillo, Kathleen Trujillo, Adam Joseph, Matthew Trujillo, Lenora Trujillo, Rebekah Martinez, Michelle Trujillo, God-daughter and granddaughter, Christina Garcia, Joseph Trujillo, Juaquin Trujillo, Consuelo Trujillo, Julian Trujillo, Alejandro Trujillo, and 13 Great grandchildren. Public visitation will begin on Friday, August 5, 2016 at 5:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Cerro, NM, with a rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m. Memorial mass will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. also at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Cerro, NM, with a burial to follow at Cerro Cemetery.
