ERIC JOSEPH ROYBAL, 45, a resident of Chamita passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 17, 2016. Eric was preceded in death by his father, Joseph R. Roybal, paternal grandparents, Jose E. and Sarah G. Roybal, maternal grandparents, Annie Espinosa, great-grandparents, Adrian and Elena Roybal, as well as other loving relatives. Eric is survived by his mother, Emelda Roybal of Chamita, sister, DeeDee Roybal, and beloved niece, Elenna Roybal both of Chamita. Aunts, Belinda and Cosme Tapia of Santa Fe, Larry and Debbie Salazar of Ojo Caliente, Mary Ann Abeyta and husband Fofo, Española, Macrina and Rick Montoya of Espanola. Uncles, Edward and Magda Espinosa of Arkansas, and Chris Espinosa of Arkansas, and numerous other loving relatives and friends. Memorial mass will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Ohkay Owingeh. Honorary pallbearers will be Santos Valdez, Dennis Lovato, Glenda Sanchez, Randy Vigil, Jeff Salazar, Dave Romero, Miguel Tapia, Tommy Borrego and Leo Caballero.
