Epifanio Age - 85 Peñasco Pacheco

Epifanio Pacheco, 85, a resident Peñasco passed away on Sunday, March 27, 2011. He was a lifelong member of the Catholic Church. A World War II United States Marine Veteran, member of the American Legion in California. He enjoyed fishing and working on his land. He was a loving husband for 61 years & a devoted father and grandfather. Epifanio was preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Pablita Pacheco; son, Tommy Pacheco; grandson, James Merrill. He is survived by his wife, Beda Pacheco of Peñasco; daughters: Yolanda Merrill and husband Gary of Española, Christina Atencio and husband Ronnie of Everett, WA and Michele Pacheco of San Leandro,CA; grandchildren: Lance Merrill and wife Judy, Lori Serna and husband Loren, Amy Lujan and husband Thomas, Jodi Branham and husband Mark, Mike Atencio and fiancé Sarah, Aaron Atencio, Alex Atencio, Andrew Wilson, A.J. Wilson, Cassandra Wilson and Troy Wilson; great-grandchildren: Cory and Lainie Serna, Savanna and Megan Merrill, Daymon and Jada Lujan, Parker Branham, Maddie Atencio; sister, Evelyn Ramirez. Public visitation will be held on Sunday, April 3, 2011 at 5:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel at DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory with rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday, April 4, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at La Iglesia de Santa Cruz de la Canada with burial to follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 2:15 p.m. in Santa Fe.
