Emmanuel Pineda Munoz

Emmanuel Pineda Muñoz, born on September 8, 2007, in Phoenix, Arizona, A bright light in our lives dimmed too soon on September 24, 2024. Emmanuel attended Española Valley High School, where he developed a keen interest in welding and made many lasting friendships.

Emmanuel is preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Rodolfo Muñoz, Silviano Diaz and Concepcion Garcia, Jose Pineda, Celia Flores, Gila Arana and Lorenso Arana.

Emmanuel had a passion for video games, particularly Fortnite, and loved playing basketball and football. Emmanuel had a heart of gold, his joyful spirit, contagious smile, and quick wit could light up any room. He was always ready to crack a joke and make everyone around him laugh, bringing joy to all who knew him. Emmanuel was always ready to lend a helping hand or a shoulder to cry on. Emmanuel will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He leaves behind his loving girlfriend, Julianna Garcia; his parents, Fabiola Muñoz and Jose Manuel Pineda; and his siblings, Vanessa Muñoz (Kevin), Jose Manuel Pineda Jr., Alexis Pineda (Estrella), Melissa Pineda, Giselle Pineda, and Milagros Pineda. Emmanuel was cherished by his grandparents, Rumaldo and Martha Muñoz, who raised him, as well as his paternal grandparents, Ramiro Pineda and Irene Arana.

He is also survived by aunts and uncles, Ramiro Pineda, Cesar Muñoz, Daisy Pineda, Rodolfo Muñoz, and Maribel Muñoz (Mauricio), along with his niece and nephew, Emily Martinez and Cody Martinez, and many beloved cousins.

A Public Visitation will take place on Thursday, October 3, 2024, at 5:00 pm in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home and a Rosary to follow at 6:00 pm. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday October 4, 2024, at 11:00 am at Santa Cruz De La Canada Holy Cross Catholic Church, with a burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.

The family is deeply appreciative of everyone who reached out with prayers and condolences during this incredibly difficult time. Your kind words, gestures, and presence have provided us with comfort and strength as we navigate this profound loss. Emmanuel touched the lives of so many and we appreciate the love and kindness shown to the family as we honor his memory.
