Emma J. Age - 76 - La Madera Morfin

Emma J. Morfin – Age 76 a resident of La Madera passed away on Monday, May 7, 2012 following a short illness. She was preceded in death by her parents: Julian and Doloritas Jacquez; and husband, Joe Morfin. Emma’s daily priority was making sure all her family members were ok by calling them just making sure they were safe and sound. She was dedicated to her catholic faith, a generous caring and loving woman who shared all that she had. She will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Herrera and companion Fabian Pacheco; son, Manny Morfin and wife Rachel; grandchildren: Jose Griego and wife Amanda, Vicente Griego and wife Sharon, Lloyd Griego and wife Nicole and Katrina Griego; great-grandchildren: Cornelio, Luis, Giovanna, Adrianna, Anthony and Vicente Griego, Jr.; brother, Eloy Jacquez and wife Rosina; sister, Julia Griego and husband John; very close nieces, Sonya Griego, Geraldine Trujillo; very close nephew, Joseph Jacquez; many other special nieces, nephews, family and friends. Public visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory with a rosary to be reicted at 7:00 p.m. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Thursday, May 10, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at La Iglesia de Santa Cruz de la Cañada. Burial will follow at the La Madera Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers: Orlando, Valentin, Eloy, Jr., Bert, Danny and Larry Jacquez. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be all of her great-grandchildren. The family of Emma J.
