Emily A. - Age 53 - Española Casias

Emily A. Casias – Age 53 a resident of Española passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2011 unexpectedly. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ruth V. Baca; brother, Frank Baca; maternal grandparents: Jose Tiburcio and Patrocina Vigil; paternal grandparents: Leondro and Antonita Baca. Emily always took everyone in and gave them advice, she became everyone’s mom. She was a wonderful cook, mechanic, she was a jack of all trades. She loved her children and grandchildren, she always said, “It’s All Good” and there was never a problem too big or too small that she couldn’t handle. She is survived by her husband, Joe Casias of Española; son, Steven Baros and Jake Baros Jr. of Española; daughters: Amanda Dominguez and husband Daniel of Santa Fe and Debra Baros of Española; step-children: Kelly Tyler of Española and Robert Baros of Española; father, Jose E. Baca (Baquita); sisters: Marie Valencia and husband Frank, Laura Vasquez and husband Eddie; brothers: Rudy Maestas and wife Pauline and Louie Maestas and wife Pearl; Godchildren: Juan Carlos Chavez of Santa Fe, Dolores Salazar of Española, Jessica Martinez of Albuquerque and Lillian Baca of La Petaca; grandchildren: Jennifer, Alessa, Angel, Mercades, Stephanie, Alexis, Angelica, Michael, Jacob and Demetri; and numerous other loving relatives and friends. Rosary will be recited on Thursday, December 29, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Española. Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Friday, December 30, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Española. The family of Emily A.
