Emilia - Age 84 - El Guache Martinez

EMILIA MARTINEZ, 84, a resident of Española and originally of Coyote, passed away on Friday, April 27, 2012. She was preceded in death by her parents, Juan and Maria Luz Lovato; husband, Facundo B. Martinez; grandson, Carlos Martinez; sisters, Angelica, Patrocinia and Eva and brothers, Isaac, Medardo and Norman. Mrs. Martinez is survived by her daughter, Flora Martinez and companion Filiberto; son, Tommy Martinez and wife Esther; grandchildren, Stephanie and husband Brian, Shannon and husband Leon, Veronica, Michael and Alexis Martinez; brother, Federico Fred Lovato; 6 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and numerous other relatives and friends. A rosary will be recited on Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory. Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. at La Iglesia de Santa Cruz de la Cañada. Burial to follow at 11:15 a.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery with the family serving as pallbearers, James, Michael, Vidal, Nestor, Isaac Jr. and Johnny. The family of Emilia Martinez has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
