Elsie - Age 67 - Española - Archuleta

Elsie M. Archuleta, 67, a resident of Espanola passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 29, 2012. Elsie was born on May 25, 1944. She was preceded in death by her father, Blas Martinez; her mother, Rosina V. Martinez; her father-in-law, Willie Archuleta and mother-in-law Stella Archuleta. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Pat W. Archuleta; children Patrick Archuleta and Alan Archuleta; Brothers Bert Martinez and wife Lucy, and Freddy Martinez. Sister Lovia Leyba and Orlando. Grandchildren Kenneth Gomez, Sierra Gomez, and Aliyah Archuleta; numerous loving nephews, nieces, and other relatives and friends. Public visitation will be held on Thursday, February 2, 2012 at 6:30 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Friday, February 3, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Española. Burial will follow at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers: Kenneth Gomez, Gabino Leyba, Darryl Leyba, Rosendo Sanchez, Billy Sanchez, and Frankie Sanchez. The family of Elsie M. Archuleta has entrusted the care of their beloved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
