Eloy Naranjo, a resident of Santa Clara Pueblo, NM, passed away December 30, 2024.

Eloy was preceded by his birth parents Delfido and Lugardita Naranjo; brother Andy; sisters Carolina Douglas and Candelaria Naranjo; adoptive parents Eugene and Faustina Gutierrez; parents-in-law Salvador and Celestina Naranjo; sister-in-law Sylvia Naranjo; brother-in-law Clifford Naranjo, and Lowell and Dora Wilson.

Eloy is survived by his Wife of 62 years, Millie Naranjo; daughters Eileen and Lorraine Naranjo; grandson Luke; nephew Chris Naranjo (daughter Alicia and grandson Jacob; the Wilson families from Indiana and Texas; and step-sister Nina Motah.

Mr. Naranjo was a self-taught potter and jeweler. His Specialty was black bears and quail figurines. Mr. Naranjo retired from the Santa Fe Indian School. He was a United States Army Veteran. He enjoyed horse racing, the beautiful lands of Santa Clara Pueblo, western shows and seek a word puzzles.

Mr. Naranjo was buried and the Santa Clara Pueblo Cemetery on January 3, 2025.

Pallbearers were Lowell Wilson Jr, Chris Naranjo, Tom Romereau, Jordan Harvier, Phillip Silva, Myron Naranjo, and Regis (RA) Armijo.

The Family Extends sincere Gratitude to former Santa Clara Pueblo Governor Michael Chavarria and staff, James Naranjo Santa Clara Governor and staff, Larry Ulibarri, the Baca Family and Lee Moquino.

The family appreciates the amazing cooks and bakers, Belva Suazo, Claudette Naranjo, Frances and Diane Silva, Eleanor Atkinson, Candee Suazo and Margaret Naranjo. We send Special gratitude to Aunt Alice Chato for her incredible support. The family sends sincere gratitude to Randy Silva for all the support, assistance, and wisdom.

We are also grateful for special friends Chuck and Nanette Rozanski for their generosity and Kindness.

The Naranjo family extends our appreciation to the community members of Santa Clara Pueblo for all support.
