Ellen Herrera

Ellen Herrera, 73, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on Tuesday, November 14, 2017. She was preceded in death by her mother, Annie Arellano; father, Filimon Arellano and brother, Ben Arellano. Ellen is survived by her children, David Moya, Jackie Sanchez (James), Rudy Moya (JoAnn) and Alex Moya (Rose); brothers and sister, Theresa Vigil, Gilbert Arellano (Carol), Patricia Lujan (Ruben), Edwardo Herrera, Rose Vogt (Don), Veronica Chacon (Alfonso) and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Public visitation will begin on Friday, November 17, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at La Iglesia de Santa Cruz de la Cañada with Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11:00 a.m. Burial will take place at Mount Calvery Cemetery in Albuquerque with the following serving as pallbearers, Jerome Arellano, Jeff Arellano, Estevan Martinez, Jim Maestas, Alex Moya and Andy Chacon. Honorary pallbearers will be Joshua Moya and Rudy Moya. The family of Ellen Herrera has entrusted the care of their loved one to the DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
