Elizaida Gomez

Elizaida Maria Gomez , 85, a resident of Llano Quemado, passed away on Sunday, May 27, 2018. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leandro and Teresina Romero; her husband, George Gomez; two sons, George Gomez Jr. and Max Gomez; granddaughter, Yolanda Prudencio and sister, Frances Romero. She is survived by her daughter, Tessie Prudencio (Fred); two sons, Benny and Marvin Gomez; sisters, Eloisa Romero, Lydia Montoya (Martin) and Dolores Romero; brother, Leo Romero (Ruby); grandchildren, Richard Prudencio, Christina Phillips, Vanessa Lujan, Frank and Tony Gomez; 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson. A rosary will be recited on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Francis de Assisi Catholic Church. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. also at St. Francis de Assisi Catholic Church with interment to follow at the Old Llano Quemado Cemetery.The family of Elizaida Maria Gomez has entrusted the care of their loved one to the DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
