Eliseo - Llano Largo Gurule

Eliseo Gurule – was born on September 6, 1921 to Pulidor and Domitilla Gurule. He was preceded in death by his wife, Celina Gurule, his son, Eliseo Gurule, Jr.; parents Pulidor and Domitilla Gurule; brothers: Manuel, Odilio and Jose F.; and sister, Estella Martinez. Eliseo was a very hard and dedicated worker. He worked in the logging industry, mining in different states, and construction work for many years. He then returned back home to work on his ranch. He is going to be missed by everyone who knew and loved him. Eliseo had a compassionate heart and showed his consideration by helping anyone in need. His motto was “The more you give and help a friend in need, God will multiply your blessings.” His favorite scripture was “For me to live is Christ and to die is gain.” Phil 1:21. “ Para mi, vivir es Cristo, y morir es ganancia.” On May 19, 1942 he married his beloved wife Celina Trujillo and had four children. He is survived by his children: Jose Elipeo and Eleanor Gurule, Emily Olguin and husband Felix; grandchildren: Russell, Francella, Marlene, Norene, Jeanine, Roxanne, Ryan, Erica, Nakiesha and Larissa; great-grandchildren: Brittany, Christopher, Deidra, Isaiah, Nathanial, Simmariah, Bethany and Russell, II; great-great granddaughter, Janaiya; great-great grandson, Caiden and numerous other relatives and friends. A devotional service will be held on Sunday, September 9, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory. Funeral service will be held on Monday, September 10, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the Rodarte Church of Christ. Burial will follow at the Rodarte Morada Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers: Felix Olguin, Frank Gonzales, Donald Martinez, Leroy Aragon, Alex Galindo and Luis Talamantes. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be: Russell, Francella, Marlene, Norene, Jeanine, Roxanne, Ryan , Erica,Nakiesha and Larissa.
