Eliseo Romero, 93, a resident of Espanola passed away after living a long wonderful loving life on Wednesday, September 4, 2013. He is preceded in death by his parents Juan Antonio and Emila Romero; his loving wife Adonilia Romero; brothers, Zacarias Romero, Edwardo Romero, sister; Olivama Pineda, and other relatives and friends where he has joined them in pardise. Eliseo is survived by his son; Ernesto Antonio Romero, (Mary Lee); daughters, Carmen Romero Hudson (Curtis) and Bernadette Martinez (George); grandchildren, Orlando Romero (Patricia), Veronica Romero, Eliseo Romero, Jr. (Cynthia), Augustine Romero, Angel Helen Archuleta, Spring Jennifer House (Steve), Monica Amy Martinez (Steve), Kathleen Vanessa Golik (Konrad); brothers, Hiloramio Romero (Isabel); sister-in-law, Estefana Romero; great-grandchildren, Antonio Dominguez, Angelita and Orlando Romero, Jr., Jayden and Richard Vargas, Eli Eliseo Romero, Dyonne, Liesha and Jodee Sedillos, Rihanna Gonzales, Jennifer Candelaria, Dylan and Mariah Duran, Kyle House, Aiden Bransford and Kaden Golik, future grandkid blessings include Kayla Bella and Kyra Emma Golik, his guardian angels Marina and Renee and numerous other loving relatives and friends. Public visitation will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, September 9, 2013 in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory; a memorial will begin at 9:00 a.m. also in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory with a burial to follow at 11:15 a.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Orlando Romero, Eliseo Romero, Jr., Augustine Romero, Antonio Dominguez, Dylan Duran and Steve Bransford. The family of Eliseo Romero has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
