Eliria Age - 91 La Mesilla Montoya

Eliria Montoya, 91, the Lord Jesus sent His Angels to usher Eliria Montoya into His Presence and Kingdom Saturday, January 22, 2011. Eliria resided in La Mesilla, but had fond memories of her childhood home in Pajarito near Black Mesa. She was preceded in death by her parents Eliseo and Juanita Montes y Vigil; step-father, Tomas Gonzales; sisters: Teresita Vigil and Guadalupe Randolf; brothers: Thedoreo, Ernesto and Alberto Vigil; sister-in-law, Carmen Vigil; daughter-in-law, Loretta Montoya. She is survived by her husband of 74 years, Delfin Montoya; daughters: Siria Lucero and husband Pete, Susan Serrano and husband Norberto, Dorothy Montoya and companion Isaac Valdez; sons: Ray Montoya and wife Dilia and Joseph Montoya; 19 grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren; 33 great great-grandchildren; sisters: Ernestina Ruiz and husband Juan, Lugarda Hagewod and husband Ernest, Trinity Herrera and Mary Herrera; sister-in-law, Velma Vigil. Rosary will be recited on Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. at La Iglesia de Santa Cruz de la Cañada. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at 12:00 p.m. at La Iglesia de Santa Cruz de la Cañada with burial to follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery with the following will be serving as pallbearers: Alfredo Lucero, Arthur Fresquez, Jason Montoya, Johnny Montoya, Christopher Lovato, Ray Montoya.
