Elena Fresquez

ELENA M. FRESQUEZ, 77, a resident of Chimayo, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 5, 2018. Elena was preceded in death by her parents; Aniceto and Magdalena Montoya, brothers; Silviano Baca and Ben Montoya, sister; Rosario Vigil, grandson; Nicholas Fresquez, sons; James, Michael and Joe Fresquez Galvan. Elena is survived by her sisters; Rosenda and Ermenda Martinez, husband Joe Galvan, children; Evelyn Vigil (Ramon), Lucy Rodriguez, Leroy Fresquez, Sharon Galvan (Dion) and Martha Armijo (Steve). 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.  Public visitation will begin on Friday, December 7, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial to be celebrated on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the Holy Family Catholic Church in Chimayo. Burial to follow at the Nuestra de Senora de Dolores Cemetery in Chimayo. The family of Elena M.
