ELAINE “ELENA” FRANCO, 51, a resident of Española, passed away on Monday, April 4, 2016. She was preceded in death by her father, Liborio Lopez, Sr.; sister, Rachel Lopez; brothers, Raymond Ortega and Jose Lopez; maternal grandparents, Eliseo and Beroniz Ortega and paternal grandparents, Juan and Bonifacia Lopez. Mrs. Franco is survived by her husband, Jesus Franco; mother, Pauline O. Lopez; brothers and sisters, Bonnie Trujillo (Davy), Ernie Lopez (Monica), Eliseo Ortega, Eddie Lopez (MaryJane), Liborio Lopez, Jr., Priscilla Moya (Stanley), and Dennis Lopez; mother-in-law, Manuela Luna and numerous other relatives and friends. Public visitation will begin on Friday, April 8, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. at the Faith Fellowship Pentecostal Center in Española with a devotional service to follow at 7:00 p.m. Funeral service will begin on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at 12:00 p.m. also at the Faith Fellowship Pentecostal Church in Española. Burial to follow at the Tiemplo Bautista Cemetery in Chimayo with the following serving the family as pallbearers, Ray C. Martinez, Eppie Martinez, Tina Trujillo, Roy Garcia, Oscar Franco, and Raymond Ortega Jr. Honorary pallbearers are Victoria, Rachel, and Denisse Ortega, Samantha Franco, Mia Trujillo and Derek Archuleta. The family of Elaine “Elena” Franco has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
