Eileen Romero

Eileen Rose Romero, 12/28/58 to 01/23/25, was born to Alfredo and Lena Gallegos.

Eileen supported her family by doing what she had a great passion for. She worked as a gardener and housekeeper for numerous families in the Los Alamos and the Santa Fe area. She had a great passion for serving and leading people to the Lord. She enjoyed adventures which included fishing and camping with her husband David, whom she loved and cared for dearly and family. 

Eileen is Preceded in death by her parents Alfredo and Leana Gallegos; siblings Carol, Leroy, Gerald, Elias, and Stanley Eddi Gallegos; and first husband Ricky Rodriguez Sr.

Eileen is survived by her husband David Romero; sons Freddy (wife Erlinda), Ricky Jr (Wife Crystal) Rodriguez (who cared for her in her last days), and Joe Gallegos; step children Connie (Mark) Florez, Dave Romero; grandchildren Freddy, Carol, Julia, Tiffany, Sabrina Garcia, and Rica Rodriguez who cared for her during her last days; nieces Kayla and Dylilah Ramirez whom she cared for as her own; 3 siblings Lorraine (Moises) Dosten, Joe Gallegos, Jennie (Javier) Hernandez; and Numerous nephews n nieces.

Private Services will be held.

Honorary pallbearers: Roxann Rodriguez, Christine Ocana, Cruz Baca (who cared for Eileen in her last days) and Diana Chacon.
