EDWARD L. WILSON “KOONEY”, 75, a resident of Espanola, passed away of a short illness on Sunday, November 20, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Hazel Wilson; brother, Lloyd Wilson, sister, Shirley Denton. Since retiring in 2007 he continued his wood working which included handmade frames. He enjoyed watching his Redskins play, and enjoyed attending his grandsons sporting events. Edward loved spending time with his family in New Mexico and Lake Havazu City, Arizona, he will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Edward is survived by his wife, Rosemary Wilson of Espanola; children, Jeremy Gauld of Lake Havasu City, AZ, Dominic Wilson (Jessica) of Lake Havasu City, AZ, Michelle Vallo (Darrell) of Espanola; grandchildren, Jeffrey Wilson of Tucson, AZ, Jazmine Gauld of Lake Havasu City, AZ, Heaven Vallo of Espanola, Jacob Gauld of Lake Havasu City, AZ, AJ Vallo of Espanola, Cameron Wilson, Gabriel Wilson both of Flagstaff AZ, Ian Vallo of Espanola, and Gunner Wilson and Levi Gauld both of Lake Havasu City, AZ; sisters, Nancy Castigilone of Michigan, Bonnie White (Bob) of Oregon; mother-in-law, Dora Sanchez of Albuquerque; sisters-in-law, Yolanda Dittemore (Rodger) of Leavenworth, KS, Sandra Cordova (Sammy) of Truchas, Aurelia Hernandez of Santa Fe, brothers-in-law, Pete Sanchez (Berlinda) of Espanola, and Michael Sanchez (Rosy) of Albuquerque and numerous nephews, nieces, and other relatives and friends. Public visitation will begin on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory, with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Memorial mass will be celebrated on Friday, November 25, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at La Iglesia de Santa Cruz de la Canada in Santa Cruz. Burial will be held at a later date. Serving the family as pallbearers Rodger Dittemore, Pete Sanchez, Sammy Cordova, Al Herrera, Rusty Guillen and Anthony Sena. The family of Edward L.
