Edward Casados

EDWARD CASADOS , passed away peacefully on November 16, 2017 at his home in Los Alamos. Edward was a loving and devoted husband for 70 years. He was a loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather.   He retired for the Los Alamos Labs after 44 years where he was a Chemist.  He belonged to the English and Spanish Toastmasters. He had a deep faith in God and his church where he was a lector for many years. Many knew him from his lifelong love of tennis. His strong love of music was passed down to his children and grandchildren.  He was a band member of the Star Dusters and Blue Notes. He belonged to many clubs and organization over the years including LULAC’s and Mensa Society. He had a very quick wit and loved sharing stories. He was opinionated and forgiving.  He will be missed but never forgotten and his legacy will live in his children and their families. He is survived by his loving wife, Vivian; Daughters; Marcia LaMedica (Louis) of New Jersey, Loretta Lujan (Rick) of Colorado, Sons; Jeff Casados (Pat) of Los Alamos and Mark Casados (fiancé Ruth) of Los Alamos; eight Grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren; sisters; Celine and Marianne and many nieces and nephews.   Edward was preceded in death by his parents; Paul and Lasha Casados; sisters; Dolores and Lillian, Granddaughter; Jessica and daughter-in-law; Darla. There will be no services at his request.  In lieu of flowers please donate to the American Diabetes Association in Edward’s name or a charity of your choice.  The family of Edward Casados has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
