Eduardo "Bardo" - age 81 - La Petac Torrez

Eduardo “Bardo” Torrez, 81, a resident of La Petaca, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 30, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents, Maclovio and Eufemia Torrez; sisters, Senovia Torrez, Pricilla Serna, brothers, Ciriaco Torrez and Maclovio Torrez Jr. Eduardo loved to sing to himself, he played solitaire all the time, he enjoyed drinking, playing cards and smoking his cigarettes, he also enjoyed fishing and hunting. Eduardo is survived by his brother, Samuel Torrez of La Peteca, sister, Placida Roybal of Albuquerque, Mae Torrez Gonzales of Rio Rancho; God-daughter, Ruby Trujillo and spouse Joe Andrew Trujillo of Alcalde; granddaughter, Julie Roybal and many nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Public visitation will begin on Sunday, November 2, 2014 at 5:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory, with a rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday, November 3, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Divina Pastora Catholic Church in La Petaca, with a burial to follow at La Petaca Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers Adolfo Torrez, Danny Roybal, Charlie Baca, Josie Gutierrez, Joe Andrew Trujillo, and Louie Torrez. The family of Eduardo Torrez has entrusted the care of their loved one to the DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Espanola Valley.\r\n
