Edna Age - 59 - Española Dominguez

Edna Dominguez, 59, a resident of Española, which was now residing at Santa Fe Care Center, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 25, 2012. Edna was a very loving person and always willing to lend a helping hand. She was a very good cook. The most important thing to her was her family, that always came first. She was preceded in death by her father, Carpio Romero; mother, Carmelita Romero; sister, Arabella Martinez; brothers: Tobias and Bobby Romero; grandparents, Pedro and Petronilla Vigil; nephews: Marc Romero, Ronnie and Johnny Martinez, Toby Romero and David Romero which was like a son to her. Edna is survived by her children: Andrea Martinez and husband Johnny of Chimayo and Richard Dominguez of Chamisal; grandchildren: Austin and Ambros Dominguez, Javon Martinez all of Chimayo, Evan Martinez and companion Shannon Montoya of Santa Fe; great-grandson, Jayven Martinez of Santa Fe; sister, Janet Lopez and husband Eddie of Española; brothers: Severano Romero and wife Nelda of La Mesilla, Barney Romero and wife Vivian of Ojo Sarco, Rodney Romero and companion Amy of Cordova, Ricky Romero and wife Debra of Truchas; nieces: Margaret Lopez and husband Gerald of La Mesilla, Holly Jaramillo and husband Jerome of Española both were like daughters to her; close nephew, Robbie Pacheco and fiancé Roseann of Rio Chama; great-nieces/nephews that would always brighten her days were: Alandra Lopez of La Mesilla, Cloie, Sonya, Kaleo all of Española; father of her children, Richard Dominguez and companion Elvira Valdez; god-daughter, Michelle Padilla of Chimayo; numerous nephews, nieces and other loving relatives & friends. Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at Victory Faith Church in Española. The family would also like to thank the staff at Santa Fe Care Center, for making her feel at home and Vista Care Hospice for their support.
