Eddie Miera

Eddie G. Miera, 69, a resident of Lyden, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on October 3, 2016.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Filadelfio and Ascension Miera; Sister, Corine Miera; and grandson, Richard Martinez. Eddie Miera is survived by his brother, Phil Miera and wife Clara, his Sister Tommie Miera, and her son Tony, and Eddie’s four loving children, Son, Edward Brian Miera and Fiancé Jennifer, daughters, Monica Duran and husband Daniel, Jolene Miera, and Leana Miera; grandchildren, Destini, Austin, Santana, Judyn, Jade, Jalene, Aaliyah, Jericho, Judah, Jerry, and Olivia, great grandchildren, Richie and Malakai. He had numerous nephews, nieces, close relatives, and friends. Eddie was a very loving man who will greatly be missed by all. Public visitation will begin on Thursday, October 6, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory, with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Memorial mass will be celebrated on Friday, October 7, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Velarde, with a burial to follow at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Cemetery. Serving the family as honorary pallbearers are his best friend, Ronald, and his grandsons, Austin, Santana, Jerry, Jericho, Judah, Richie, and Malakai.
