DYLAN ETHAN ROMERO, 19, a resident of Abiquiu, passed away on Thursday, September 22, 2016. He was preceded in death by his father, Donny Lee Romero, Sr.; great-grandparents, Corine and Felix Trujillo; great-grandmother, Criselda Dominguez and nina, Flora Lopez. He was an avid Denver Broncos fan and also enjoyed cars and video games. He was an intelligent young man and had the sweetest heart and cutest smile. He gave the best hugs and was a loveable person. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Mr. Romero is survived by his mother, Andria Mae Romero and husband Andy Romero; brother, Donny Lee Romero, Jr. and companion Kathleen Wagner; step-sister, Mariah Romero; grandparents, Armando and Edith Trujillo, Carlos and MaryAnn Rascon; uncle, Dana Andre Trujillo and wife Francesca; aunt, Amanda Marie Trujillo and partner Jacque; cousins, Kayden Trujillo, Kayla Vigil and Hailey; a cousin that was like a brother, Juan Rascon; great-aunt, Lydia Jordan; beloved cat, Lucifer Romero and numerous other relatives and friends. Public visitation will begin on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory, with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Abiquiu. Serving as pallbearers, Donny Lee Romero, Jr., Ben Martinez, Juan Rascon, Joseph Sandoval, Raymon Cutter and Jordan Maestas.
